Construction work began in August last year and is expected to be completed in September 2021, and all automation and technology will be operational by July 2022.
The general contractor Baupartner Construct, part of the Baupartner group, is in charge of the construction of the eMag logistics center on Highway 1 (Bucharest-Piteşti), according to an announcement posted right on the industrial hall, but also on the information available on the manufacturer’s website.
The project covers an area of approximately 130,000 square meters and will be handed over on a turnkey basis, with Baupartner Construct having the role of both general contractor and designer. The company will deal with structure, tire, finishes, plumbing, HVAC, fire extinguishing systems, electrical installations and exterior works.
